SCHOOL NOTICE

Please be informed that there will be changes in the school timings from 24th August 2026 onwards in view of the Half-Yearly Examinations for Classes III–X, commencing from 31st August 2026.

• 24th August to 28th August 2026
  • Prep I – Class II: Arrival 7:00 a.m., Dispersal 11:00 a.m.
  • Classes III – X (no change): Arrival 7:00 a.m., Dispersal 1:00 p.m.
• 31st August to 10th September 2026
  • Prep I – X: Arrival 7:45 a.m.

• On 31st August and 7th September, Classes VI–X will be dispersed at 1:45 p.m.
• On 31st August Classes VI to X will be dispersed at 1:45pm.
• On 7th September, Classes IV to X will be dispersed at 1:45 p.m.
• On 10th September, Classes VI–VIII will be dispersed at 1:00 p.m.
• On all other examination days, Prep I–II and Classes III–X will be dispersed at 11:45 a.m., after their examinations.
• School transport will depart at 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., as applicable.
• Parents who wish to pick up their wards personally may do so.

Admit cards for Classes III–X will be issued from 27th August 2026 only to students whose fees up to the 2nd Quarter have been cleared.

The Half-Yearly Examination Schedule is attached herewith for your reference.

Parents and students are requested to take note of the above timings and make the necessary arrangements accordingly.

Students of Class VI and above are invited to participate in a free online session on Artificial Intelligence, organised by the Bharat Space Education Research Centre (BSERC) on the occasion of National Space Day 2026.

Please note that Classes I - V will be taken to a nearby biscuit manufacturing factory for industrial visit. The going and coming back to school is the school’s responsibility. You have to just send your wards to school in neat and clean uniform with ID card. Normal classes will go on. So kindly send books and other stationery materials required for their classes according to the time table.

This is to inform you that , Calcutta Girls High School will be celebrating 80th independence Day on 15 August 2026, Saturday. Students are to come in school uniform only excepting those taking part in various activities. The participating students are to come in their prescribed costumes .

A gentle reminder regarding PTM of class III to X that is to be held on 7th August (Friday) 2026.

This is to inform you that the school will be registering all students of Classes I to X for the Active CISCE Physical Health & Fitness Assessment Programme conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

A registration fee of ?100/- (Rupees One Hundred only), as prescribed by the Council, is to be paid in cash at the School Office for the Council registration.

Please note that registration is mandatory for all students of Classes I to X.

There is NO extra registration fee this year for the school level.

This is a gentle reminder that 30.06.2026 is the last date for payment of the First Quarter School Fees (April–June) along with the applicable late fine.

As this marks three months from the original due date (20.04.2026), failure to clear the outstanding fees by today will attract Readmission Charges of ?2,000/- as per the school rules.

Kindly ensure that the payment is made within the stipulated time to avoid additional charges.

This is to inform all students who appeared for the ICSE (Class X) Examination 2026 and had applied/opted for a Migration Certificate that their certificates are now available for collection.
